A facial treatment is beneficial in maintaining the health of the skin and in correcting specific skin conditions, such as dry, oily, minor acne, sun-damaged or aging skin. Skin must breathe to live. Healthy skin is achieved through proper cleansing, stimulating, nourishing, and protecting. Treat yourself to a facial in the comfort of your own home. Choose the products you will use according to your skin type and specific skin conditions.

Step 1: CLEANSE
Apply cleanser to wet face and throat in upward circular motions. Begin at the base of the throat and work upward into the facial area. Cleanse from the center line of the face, working outward towards the sides and gradually up to the forehead. Rinse thoroughly and then cleanse again to break down oil, dirt, and make-up. Rinse thoroughly again.

Step 2: STEAM
Steam face using a facial steamer or with warm, moist towels. Use microwave or Crock-Pot to heat moistened towels. Test warmth before placing on face by touching towel to the inner arm. Steam mildly 1 to 5 minutes. Steam increases blood circulation and opens pores.

Step 3: EXFOLIATE
Apply granular scrub to wet face and throat using light, circular movements. Roll the grains around the skin gently. Do not rub into the skin. Let the grains do the work to remove topical dead skin cells. Scrub may be used while face is over a facial steamer and/or with the use of a beauty brush. Rinse thoroughly.

Step 4: AMPOULE
Massage in ampoule using upward, circular motion to face and throat until absorbed completely while steaming the face over a facial steamer or with warm, moist towels. Do not rinse off. If you decide to skip using an ampoule you can still steam your face before application of the mask for about 5 to 10 minutes.

Step 5: MASK
Smooth on mask in upward movements to entire face and throat. Leave on for 15 to 20 minutes. Relax and breathe. Rinse of thoroughly with lukewarm water.

Step 6: TONER
Apply by misting, patting, or using cotton pads to entire face and throat. Use fingertip tapping to cool skin. Toner will help to remove all traces of mask and will smooth down pores.

Step 7: MOISTURIZE
Apply sparingly to face and throat in light, upward motions while skin is still damp. It will seal in the water content and protect skin from the elements.
